Animal - Snail

One afternoon in the middle of winter a man was walking out to check on his cattle and there was a snail on the step and it said, "let us in mate."

The farmer replies, "no chance." Then he kicks it across the farmyard.

Eight months later it's summer, and the farmer opens the door, looks down and sees the snail.

Furious, the snail exclaims, "was there any need in that?!"
