Going by my definition, I'm a nerd.
To me a nerd is a person who enjoys math, science, technology stuff, etc. Although they enjoy these things, they are still accepted by there peers and enjoy a nice social life.
A geek on the other hand (according to me) enjoys all these things, yet they are socially inept, and are sometimes conceited and arrogant.

Going by your definition I am deffinatly a nerd...but on the contrary geek sounds better with certain catigories...such as band geek vs. band nerd and theater geek vs. theater nerd.. in which case i am all of the above (ie a nerd, a band geek and a theater geek (to which we prefer to be called theater freaks (well sometimes)))
Live in the darkness and laugh at the stupidity. Speak in whisper, run the stage, make endless jokes and the truest of friends. Love what you do, and make it your passion. Crew = Life and Life = Love.

Haven't you seen nerd man's note after his nerd test? They are both the same. Neek and gerd, remember?
The opposite of good is bad. If arranged marriages are bad, are disarranged divorces good?

I think geeks are people who are obsessed with certain subject/s and are very good at the subject/s they are obsessed about and that a nerd is someone who loves knowledge in general and spends a great deal of their life trying to learn more. It's possible for both nerds and gekks to be socially inept in my opinion.

Okay, fine. According to YOUR definition are you a geek or a nerd...Seeing how people refuse to go by my definitions, please post your definitions when you answer the poll question.
