What do you think caused the ancient egyptians to develop such mathematic skills at such a point in the history time line?

Probably talent, practice and a great education system.
Never really thought about it much myself....
Maybe it was a civilization with many above average IQs.
What me, worry?
Absolutely not, I think.
Are you sure of that?
What makes you think I'm not?

Well Maths obviously developed from menial tasks. Like farming, building. Mass buildings of course require a larger amount of simple maths.

The wiki link talk s of how maths dates back as far as 70,000 BC, Babylonians also were great pioneers of Maths.
