George Bush....

Postby Lume » Thu Jul 06, 2006 4:59 pm

Well, I wouldn't say that's entirely accurate. Americans are pretty dumb, but mainly we've just become complacent and submissive because corporations flood us with 24-hour consumerism. He actually lost both elections, and would've lost both by a lot more had our government not pulled several different scams (purposely not placing voting machines in Democrat areas, outright voter fraud through privately-owned electronic voting machines, etc.).

Our weak, television-hypnotized minds find symbolic acts like two-party elections pretty convincing. Though actually, I'm not really convinced we would've done anything even if a military junta had suddenly seized control of the government and didn't even pretend to try using political methods to gain power. We're just too damn comfortable. The poor are too uneducated to understand when they're being taken advantage of, and the middle-class has practically become a miniature imperialist paradise, where you can buy anything built in the third-world for cheap, cheap, cheap! So why rock the boat over silly things like democracy and justice? As long as we can maintain our bizarre illusion that people in America live a happier life than everywhere else on the planet just because we can afford to buy twelve televisions and an inefficient SUV...

wow, damn, let me get off my soapbox now. I just woke up; sorry for the rant.

I HATE THAT (&^^&^(&(^*(&!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He destroyed our country for oil. He made our country a dangerous place to be. Why would he go to war with Iraq? Then they will hirt us, too. With their so called "WMD"

Iraq has weapons of mass destruction? Even if they did, why shouldn''t they be allowed to possess them? America has tons.

You see, it is all about power. And oil. And money for the government.

Which spends it on WMD to use to GET WMD because Iraq can't own them.

I guess to get back our freedom from the attack of the US government, violence may be the only answer, there might be another, but eventually, those other options will vanish as we are victimized by our near tyrannical government. Neither Republicans nor Democrats will be happy in the end. Americans might be killing each other. I plan on living in Canada someday; then I won't have to worry about being killed or spied on by our government.

Ahhh french is a bunch of hooie, The only thing it's good for is asking government officials for the french version and then pretending not to understand over and over again. But don't worry it is not that hard to learn, and if you just move straight up instea of up and to the right then you will have no problem.

French is one the easier languages to learn because it is very structured and rarely breaks the rules of the language. Thats why english is so hard to learn, it breaks far too many rules in itself to be easily understood.

I know, that's why the Americans who aren't pleased with what is going on in their country should move to Canada!!

Yeah! another reason french is easy to learn is because it uses the same alphabet, no cyrillic here.

Plus, most French words are based upon English or vice versa.

Example:

English:orange juice

French: jus d'orange

No, I did not just translate that off of google or some website.

I know a TINY little bit of French.

pure:pur

fat (from food): Lipides, which is similar to the English word lipids.

Don't worry, I know more than that. That is just all the French words I can think of right now that relate to English words.

I think we should keep Canada as Canadian as possible. And by Canadian I man non-American. Plus, the Americans who arent happy with with their own country wont be happy here because we have basically the same government going on. Canadians arent too friendly toward Americans either. Most of us tend to dislike them quiet a bit.

I have nothing against Americans in general, but most of Canada dislikes America fairly intensly.
